National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day

August 4th is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. In honor of this sweet chocolaty glorious day here are a few baking tips from the Two Unique Pastry Team: Chef Tip#1: For a smooth and even batter, all ingredients to include butter and eggs should be room temperature. Chef Tip #2: To avoid lumpy batter, be sure to sift all dry ingredients. Chef Tip #3: After mixing, chill dough at least an hour before scooping to avoid a flat cookie. Chef Tip #4: Evenly space your cookies on the baking sheet for consistent baking.
